When is check in/check out time?
During peak season, we have a strict check in time of 3pm, however during other times of the year we may be able to accommodate an earlier check in so please speak to one of our holiday consultants before your arrival. Check out is 10am in peak season. Sometime a late check out can be arranged, so please speak to one of our holiday consultants.
Where do I collect keys from?
Keys are to be collected from our office located at 1/146 Thompson Ave Cowes.
Do we have to clean the properties before we leave?
It is stated in the Terms and Conditions that it is required that the Guest leave the property in the way it was received, in a clean and tidy manner upon departure. This includes washing dishes, emptying the dishwasher, cleaning the BBQ, sweeping the floor and taking all rubbish out of the house and putting the bins out on the curb for collection. This is to avoid excess cleaning costs.
What if the property is not clean on our arrival?
Any issues with relation to the cleanliness of the property needs to be reported to our office within an hour of your arrival, in order for us to rectify the problem for you immediately.
Are pets allowed inside pet friendly properties?
Most pets are permitted at some of our holiday properties, please check with our office prior to booking. They are restricted to outside only and Getaway Phillip Island will not be held responsible for the safety of your pet during your stay. If pet is found to be inside premises then extra cleaning charges will apply and be deducted from your security deposit. We do have a small number of properties which are totally pet friendly and welcome your pet indoors, please check first if this is what you require.
Do we need to being linen?
You need to BYO, sheets, doona covers (doona’s provided), pillowcases, towels, face washers, hand towels, bath mats and tea towels. Alternatively, call one of our holiday consultants to arrange hiring linen.
What do we do if there are maintenance issues?
Please call our office!
We have prepared for your arrival and ensured that any maintenance & servicing matters have been dealt with where applicable. Should you encounter a situation whereby a tradesperson is required to attend, we will do the best we can to have the situation rectified.
